Honor smartphone users facing a bizarre screenshot bug

Honor ensures that its devices keep working efficiently and sends all kinds of MagicOS updates on time, but looks like Honor smartphone users worldwide are facing an unusual screenshot bug with a recent version that limits them from saving an image.

Many Honor smartphone users have reported a bizarre bug on their device – “don’t have enough storage space” while saving a screenshot image on their handset.

Despite freeing hundreds of gigabytes of storage space in the Honor phone, the prompt continues to appear on the screen when a user tries to perform the screenshot action.

Following the irritating bug, several Honor phone users shared their reports on Reddit. What’s even worth noting is that this issue is affecting almost every Honor model – from the years-old Honor 90 to the recently launched Honor 600 smartphones.

It seems more like a server-side glitch. One of the users even deleted more than 3500 screenshots and cleared the cache of its album. Though the issue persisted, and NOTHING has worked so far.

Ironically, it is happening only with the normal screenshot gesture, while tools like scrollshots, knuckle gestures, and screen recordings are working fine. And here’s the twist – regardless of the error prompt, the screenshot gets saved in the Gallery.

Honor hasn’t responded to this matter yet. Though if it’s a widespread issue, the company will undoubtedly release a hotfix for it in the coming days. We’ll update you on this matter.
