Huawei Pura 90 Pro Max has stepped on the launch floor with many WOW factors, but a part of this flagship that immediately sparked discussions is the “anti-reflective screen”. The first display that doesn’t require any tempered glass for protection.
Unlike other smartphones that prefer a screen protective glass for an extra layer of safety, Huawei said that its Pura 90 Pro Max anti-reflective display doesn’t need one!
All thanks to the anti-reflective and scratch-resistant Kunlun Glass of the Pura 90 Pro Max. It’s the first time the company has used this display tech for its smartphone.
Official details reveal that Huawei has crafted the new Kunlun Glass screen through a comprehensive manufacturing process that helped reduce the screen reflectivity by 70%.
In addition, this manufacturing process increased the scratch resistance up to 16 times and the drop resistance by 25 times over the previous-generation screen solutions.
Moreover, the new screen tech has a special glass coating that increases the lifespan of the anti-fingerprint coating by 200% – up to 19 years over other handsets. Huawei says:
” Pura 90 Pro Max’s anti-reflective and scratch-resistant Kunlun glass screen allows you to shoot confidently in sunlight with clear previews. It is perfect for everyday use and durable enough for peace of mind.”
Simply put, Huawei’s new anti-reflective screen technology can deal with hard objects like keys or grit, scratches, and even drops. At the same time, the display improves the visibility of the content displayed on the screen even in bright light environments.
