Huawei has announced that the FreeClip 2 Collector’s Edition earbuds will launch on June 1st, alongside the Nova 16 series.
A short teaser video published on Weibo revealed the charging case of the headphones with a redesigned round shape, which appears like an egg. The two earbuds are placed vertically inside the charging box. The attraction to the device is its dark purple and special Huawei branding.
Besides the design, the earbuds are likely to share the specs of the recently released FreeClip 2 earbuds.
The earbuds continue a C-bridge design, offering 25% software skin-friendly silicon and a shape-memory alloy. Each piece weighs only 51 grams for a lightweight experience. Its comfort beam is 11% smaller and packs its acoustic ball features a dual-diaphragm driver.
Unlike the Collector’s Edition, the existing Huawei FreeClip 2 earbuds have a square case, which is lighter and smaller than its predecessor. Coming to the functions, this device has an NPU AI process for a smart sound experience. On the other hand, its dual-power drive provides 100% strong volume and air displacement.
Users have options like adaptive volume and adaptive voice enhancements to enhance the music and calling experience in public places.
You can wear earbuds on either ear thanks to its interchangeable self-adaptive left-right audio channels. Furthermore, its Nimble gesture controls allow you to adjust the volume with a swipe, pause/play music with a tap, and tap and hold to change the audio mode and more.
The Huawei FreeClip 2 offers up to 9 hours of battery life with a full charge, which extends up to 38 hours with the charging case. Moreover, users can quickly charge the battery in a short time.
