After five years of complete silence, Huawei has now introduced its children-dedicated wearable lineup – the Watch Kids X1 Series. The smartwatches come with a detachable design that will enable your kids to handle them easily without any difficulty.
Huawei Watch Kids X1 series owns two models: Standard and Pro. The former supports a flippable and 360° rotatable design. One can flip it up, rotate it, or simply twist it to frame the perfect show. The latter supports a detachable + rotatable look.
The Watch Kids X1 vanilla model comes in Blue and Pink shades. Meanwhile, the Pro smartwatch variant has Black and Light Purple shade. The dimensions are as follows:
- Watch Kids X1: 47.4 x 41.1 x 13.4mm; 115-190mm wrist size, and 70 grams of weight.
- Watch Kids X1 Pro: 47.4 x 41.1 x 13.4mm; 120-190mm wrist size, and 72 grams of weight.
Both models feature a 1.82-inch AMOLED wide touchscreen with a 480 x 408 pixel resolution. The standard version debuts with a 2GB RAM + 32GB ROM, while the Pro model has 2GB RAM + 64GB of storage. The series has a home button for controls.

Watch Kids X1 Pro has a 5MP front camera and 13MP rear camera, which is great for selfies, group shots, and everything in between. Both models support the industry’s first 110° ultrawide-angle front camera that ensures no one gets left out of the frame.
Camera features count:
- Timer Mode: Set the watch and strike a pose after turning on the timer. Choose between 2, 5, or 10 seconds.
- Filter Mode: Get 14 sets of filters. Just tap to switch styles and see instant phone magic.
- Fun Stickers: Add some sparkle or an emoticon and choose from over 100 fun stickers.
- AI noise cancellation video calls with precise filters
Huawei Watch Kids X1 Series introduces a 5-mode accurate positioning that has dual-band satellite, base station, dual-band Wi-Fi, sensor-assisted, and SOS-assisted positioning. All these functions work together to keep kids safe and protected.

The feature supports outdoor positioning, indoor positioning, and second-scale positioning. Besides, the Huawei FamCare App compatibility has a real-time 24/7 activity status, a safe zone mode, and emergency SOS, again for protection.
Watch Kids X1 series is 2G, 3G, and 4G capable and promises to offer stable calls, faster message or photos sending, and clearer MeeTime calls. One just has to touch each other’s watches or shake hands to instantly add friends. Parental Controls, a dedicated Health Assistant, and IPX9/X8 ratings are other traits of the lineup.
Huawei Watch Kids X1 series packs an 850mAh battery that can deliver 50% of power 16 in just 20 minutes—simple enough for kids to handle.
