Huawei Nova 16 series will likely enter the “pre-launch campaign” phase next week and before that, a question might have passed through your way – which Kirin 5G chipset will power up the new-generation mid-rangers? Well, some answers have popped up against this query.
Many tipsters suggested that the Huawei Nova 16 smartphones will use a Kirin 9 series 5G chip for all three models – standard, Pro, and PRO MAX, unlike the predecessors.
Adding more to this point, some tipsters mentioned that the Nova 16 vanilla version will use the Kirin 9010S processor – the one used for the Nova 15 Pro/Ultra phones.
On the other hand, the Nova 16 Pro and PRO MAX handsets could adopt the Kirin 9030S 5G mobile SoC – the one that has recently debuted with the Pura 90 Pro series.

While the Kirin 9010S still seems a right option for the Nova 16 base model, it is quite difficult to witness the newly launched 9030S flagship processor with the Pro and PRO MAX smartphones. Still, Huawei is surprising its customers in many ways, and this could be part of one of its bombshells.
Up to this point, Huawei hasn’t disclosed anything about the new-gen Nova smartphones. Hence, things are doubtful for these mid-rangers to a great extent. Though we may soon grab the official revelations – probably on May 25.
One of the latest revelations about the Nova 16 series is its first-ever live shot, showing the twin-ring design on the back. Even though the company will likely maintain the new “wide camera bar” design for the new models, the gradient approach can be a highlight.
