Honor has released the changelog of the MagicOS 10 May 2026 update for its devices with several improvements and new changes. The company has once again enhanced the UI segment and general tools in the device to boost the user experience.
MagicOS 10 May 2026 update brings various improvements over the previous version. And the company will soon begin pushing these add-ons to its compatible phones/tablets.
In the meantime, the tech giant has already revealed what the latest firmware carries for its devices. From new YOYO features to a redesigned status bar, the build is full of perks.

Firstly, Honor has added a new AI Accounting feature that will keep track of your expenses and payments. Don’t worry, as it won’t dive into your bank or debit/credit card details, but will help you to manage your expenses more effectively.
Another major addition is the Charging Separation or Bypass charging. The feature reduces the heat and ensures efficient charging when you are already using the phone. Besides, Honor has enhanced MagicOS 9-powered devices as well.

- Redesigned Status Bar: Revamped the status bar icons completely, optimized the battery icon style, and the charging status + power saving mode appear more intuitive at a glance.
- AI Accounting: Supports automatic expense tracking after payment and interactive expense tracking with the YOYO smart system, providing you with a new, fully automated expense tracking experience across all scenarios.
- Charging Separation feature: When enabled, the power supply will prioritize powering the system at the time of using a phone while charging. It reduces battery charge/discharge cycles and effectively lowers phone heat. Disables when disconnected from the adapter.
- Inspiration Assist feature: Smartly recognizes the preview screen and automatically recommends inspirational reference images based on the person and environment, guiding poses and composition to help you easily capture your ideal masterpiece.
- Composition Guidance: Helps you quickly replicate the same composition through preview framing guidance and automatic zoom.
- Transparent effect on live wallpapers: Bringing a more layered and immersive visual experience.
- Optimized the exit animation for the multi-volume adjustment panel for a smoother transition.
- Apple AirPods connectivity: Simply open the earphone case, and a pop-up window will automatically connect to your phone. You can also check the earphone battery level, find the earphones, set noise control, human ear detection, and conversation awareness on your Honor device for a seamless and smart audio experience.
- YOYO allergy alert: It has six allergens, such as pollen and dust mites. It will alert you based on your location when the allergy symptoms triggered by the specified allergen reach the ‘easily triggered’ level.
- Auto-folder naming: When creating a folder, the system will automatically name it based on the application type, making the home screen organization smarter and more efficient.
- Dark Mode Scheduling: Auto-adjusts brightness for nighttime use.
- Clean Screenshot: When enabled, screenshots automatically hide the status bar, navigation bar, and smart capsules, resulting in cleaner screenshots and protecting your screen privacy.
- Optimized the interface layout for the network acceleration, and added new “Dual WLAN Network Acceleration” and “Smart Selection of Best WLAN” functions, along with their on/off switches. Also, added a new page for selecting and connecting to the dual WLAN network.
- Added AI voice changer feature offers a variety of sound effects, supports cross-gender voice transformation and voice tone enhancement, making voice communication more fun.
MagicOS 9.0 Update
- Added a new recent task stacking layout, making multitasking more intuitive and operations more efficient.
- Optimized your storage experience with the latest storage optimization technology from Honor MagicOS 10, achieving lossless compression and organization of storage space to give you more usable space.

- The Honor 80 series adds an AI call assistant function, which supports AI to automatically answer calls and reply with text when it is inconvenient to answer the phone, and automatically generate AI call summaries.
