Huawei Rotating Chairman and Deputy Chairman – Xu Zhijun has now shed light on the Tau Scaling Law and said that the company is quite grateful to the US, as they made their chip tech growth possible. The chief said this in a recent interrogation.
Someone from the media talked with Xu Zhijun recently about how happy he felt about the new Huawei chip technology. In response, the Rotating Chairman stated:
“I would say not at all. Because it’s all things that others have done, things that others accomplished ten years ago. Who would want to do that?”
Xu believes that Huawei can go far ahead in terms of chip design depth with the new LogicFolding concept. It restyles the chip from the bottom layer – a completely different level of design innovation that gives more potential to the chip’s functioning.
When people asked how Huawei thought of the new chip tech approach for its growth, Xu replied that a major credit goes to the US. Without their “ban efforts”, the company wouldn’t have embarked on catching up with chip-related work.
According to the Rotating Chairman of Huawei, the external pressure from the US has forced the rapid growth of the Chinese semiconductor industry chain. He said:
“If the United States hadn’t forced our country, our companies, and our industry, we wouldn’t have done something like this. But we are also grateful to the US for enabling our country’s semiconductor industry chain to truly grow. Now the momentum is very good, and everyone recognizes and supports it.”
Huawei’s new semiconductor development method can reduce redundant buffers by more than 50%. It also significantly improves CPU clock speed, NPU, and GPU performance while reducing the power consumption.
